A. Lý thuyết Thì Hiện tại tiếp diễn lớp 6
I. Công thức Thì Hiện tại tiếp diễn lớp 6

II. Cách dùng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn lớp 6
a) Mô tả tả hành động, sự việc xảy ra ngay tại thời điểm nói.
Ex: Where’s Tom?
He’s having a bath.
b) Mô tả một hành động đang xảy ra và kéo dài một thời gian ở hiện tại.
Ex: What are you doing now?
I am reading a book.
c) Mô tả một tình huống tạm thời
Ex: The computer isn’t working this morning.
d) Mô tả tình huống đang tiến triển, đang thay đổi (dù kéo dài)
Ex: The children is getting bigger every dayy.
e) Mô tả sự việc xảy ra trong khoảng thời gian gần lúc nói (ví dụ như: hôm nay, tuần này, tối nay…)
Ex: I am working hard today.
f) Mô những việc đã sắp xếp để thực hiện, có dự định trước (mang tính cá nhân) và có phó từ chỉ thời gian đi kèm trong câu.
Ex: A: What are you doing on Friday evening?
B: I am going to the cinema.
g) Hiện tại tiếp diễn với động từ chỉ sự hy vọng, mong đợi (dùng thay cho Thì Hiện tại đơn trong lời mời, thư tín)
Ex: We are looking forward to seeing you.
I’m hoping to see you soon.

III. Một số chú ý về Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn
1) Cách thêm “ING” sau động từ:
a) Những động từ kết thúc bằng “e” (e câm) bỏ chữ e trước khi thêm “ing”.
Ex: move – moving
Riêng tobe – being
b) Động từ có 1 âm tiết (hoặc 2 âm tiết trở lên có trọng âm ở cuối) kết thúc bằng 1 phụ âm và 1 nguyên âm đứng trước một nguyên âm, ta nhân đôi phụ âm tận cùng trước khi thêm “ing”.
Ex: begin – beginning
Nhưng: meet – meeting (không gấp đôi t do có 2 Nguyên âm ” e” đi trước)
c)Các động từ kết thúc bằng “ie” đổi thành “y” và thêm “ing”.
Ex: lie – lying
d) Động từ kết thúc bằng “L” và đứng trước một nguyên âm đơn, chúng ta cũng nhân đôi “L” và thêm “ing”
Ex: gravel – gravelling
2) Thường sử dụng với các từ/cụm từ chỉ thời gian như:
- Now, right now, at the moment (lúc này)
- At present (hiện nay)
- at the moment/ this time
- listen!/ look!/ (!)/ pay attention to!/ hurry up!
- do you hear?
- keep silent ! = Be quiet!
- don’t make noise! = don’t talk in class!
- today/ this day/ this Monday ..
- WHERE + BE + S ? ……

IV. Chia động từ trong các câu sau ở thì hiện tại đơn hoặc thì hiện tại tiếp diễn.

II. Chia các câu sau ở thì hiện tại tiếp diễn.
1 – are going; 2 – are having; 3 – is reading; 4 – are doing; 5 – are brushing;
6 – are travelling; 7 – is not doing – is sleeping; 8 – are not working – are doing;
9 – is not doing – is watching; 10 – Is Nga reading; 11 – Are they playing;
12 – Are … washing; 13 – Is … travelling; 14 – is… reading – is listening; 15 – Is… travelling;
III. Dùng từ gợi ý , viết thành câu hoàn chỉnh ở thì Hiện tại tiếp diễn.
- They are playing soccer at present.
- He is listening to music in the room.
- My sister is reading a book in her room.
- My father is working in the garden now.
- Phuong and Dung are watching TV now.
- What is she doing at the moment?
She is cooking dinner.
- Where are you going now?
I am going to the coffee.

1 – am learning; 2 – am eating; 3 – am watching; 4 – is reading; 5 – is baking;
6 – is listening; 7 – is cleaning; 8 – is barking; 9 – is singing; 10 – are playing;
11 – are showing; 12 – are bringing; 13 – is watching; 14 – is winning; 15 – is standinger
