Từ khái niệm đến công thức của Thì hiện tại đơn dành cho học sinh lớp 5
Khái niệm Thì hiện tại đơn lớp 5:
Thì hiện tại đơn (Simple Present tense) là thì dùng để diễn đạt một hành động mang tính thường xuyên (regular action), theo thói quen (habitual action) hoặc hành động lặp đi lặp lại có tính quy luật, hoặc diễn tả chân lý và sự thật hiển nhiên.
Ví dụ:
I walk to school every day. ( Tôi đi học hằng ngày)
He often play ssoccer. (Anh ấy thường xuyên chơi bóng đá)
Công thức Thì hiện tại đơn lớp 5:
Thể khẳng định:
S + am/is/are + ……
I + am
He, She, It + is
You, We, They + are
Ex: I am a student. (Tôi là học sinh.)
Ex: They are teachers. (Họ đều là giáo viên.)
S + V(s/es) + ……
I, You, We, They + V (nguyên thể)
He, She, It + V (s/es)
Ex: He always swim in the evening. (Anh ấy luôn đi bơi vào buổi tối.)
Ex: Every Sunday we go to see my grandparents. (Chủ nhật hằng tuần chúng tôi thường đi thăm ông bà).
Thể phủ định:
S + am/is/are + not +
is not = isn’t ;
are not = aren’t
Ex: She is not my friend. (Cô ấy không phải là bạn tôi.)
S + do/ does + not + V (nguyên thể)
do not = don’t
does not = doesn’t
Ex: He doesn’t work in a shop. (Anh ta không làm việc ở cửa tiệm.)
Thể Nghi vấn:
Yes – No question (Câu hỏi ngắn)
Q: Am/ Are/ Is (not) + S + ….?
A: Yes, S + am/ are/ is.
No, S + am not/ aren’t/ isn’t.
Ex: Are you a student?
=> Yes, I am. / No, I am not.
Wh- questions (Câu hỏi có từ để hỏi)
Wh-question + are/ is + S?
Ex:
a) What is this? (Đây là gì?)
b) Where are you? (Bạn ở đâu thế?)
Yes – No question (Câu hỏi ngắn)
Q: Do/ Does (not) + S + V(ng.thể)..?
A: Yes, S + do/ does.
No, S + don’t/ doesn’t.
Ex: Do you play tennis?
=> Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
– Wh- questions (Câu hỏi có từ để hỏi)
Wh-question + do/ does + S + V?
(V dạng nguyên thể)
Ex:
a) Where do you come from? (Bạn đến từ đâu?)
b) What do you do? (Cậu làm nghề gì vậy?)
Lưu ý: Khi chia động từ ở thì này, đối với ngôi thứ nhất (I), thứ hai (you) và thứ 3 số nhiều (they) thì động từ không phải chia, sử dụng động từ nguyên thể không có to như ở ví dụ nêu trên. Đối với ngôi thứ 3 số ít (he, she, it), phải chia động từ bằng cách thêm đuôi có “s/es” tùy từng trường hợp.Ví dụ: He walks. / She watches TV …
=> Cách thêm s/es sau động từ:
- Thêm s vào đằng sau hầu hết các động từ: want – wants; work – works;
- Thêm es vào các động từ kết thúc bằng ch, sh, s, ss, x, z, o:miss – misses; wash – washes; fix – fixes; teach – teaches; go – goes …
- Bỏ y và thêm ies vào sau các động từ kết thúc bởi một phụ âm + y:
study – studies; fly – flies; try – tries …

Cách dùng Thì hiện tại đơn lớp 5
- Thì hiện tại đơn diễn tả một hành động, một sự việc diễn ra thường xuyên và được lặp đi lặp lại hay diễn tả một thói quen.
Ex: I drink coffee every morning (Tôi uống cà phê mỗi sáng)
- Thì hiện tại đơn diễn tả một sự thật hiển nhiên, một chân lý luôn đúng
Ex: The earth moves around the Sun. (Trái đất quay quanh mặt trời)
- Thì hiện tại đơn diễn tả một lịch trình có sẵn, thời gian biểu rõ ràng
Ex: The flight starts at 9 am tomorrow. (Chuyến bay sẽ bắt đầu vào lúc 9h sáng ngày mai).
- Thì hiện tại đơn diễn tả suy nghĩ, cảm xúc, cảm giác
Ex: She feels very tired now. (Bây giờ cô ấy cảm thấy rất mệt)
- Sử dụng trong câu điều kiện loại 1
Ex: If my headache disappears, we can play tennis. (Nếu cơn nhức đầu qua đi, tôi có thể chơi tennis.
Dấu hiệu nhận biết “Thì hiện tại đơn – Present Simple” chương trình lớp 5:
Khi trong câu xuất hiện những trạng từ chỉ thời gian như: always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, seldom, every day/ week/ month/ year, once, twice, three times… Đó chính là câu sử dụng ngữ pháp “Thì hiện tại đơn – Present Simple”. Dạy trẻ cách dùng Thì hiện tại đơn cần nhất là chú trọng những dấu hiệu cơ bản để trẻ nhận biết chính xác mẫu câu này.
Ex: They watch TV every evening. (Họ xem truyền hình mỗi tối.)
I play football weekly. (Tôi chơi đá bóng hàng tuần) Once/ twice/ three times/ four times.. a day/ week/ month/ year,. (một lần/ hai lần/ ba lần/ bốn lần ..mỗi ngày/ tuần/ tháng/ năm)
